Today, the 3rd grade runners completed their 1 mile timed run while the 4th and 5th grade runners had the opportunity to participate in Yoga with Coach Buchan! Our character trait of the week aligned with the character trait for the school's Positivity Project: "Perspective." Congratulations to our 2 winners, 4th grader, Ava O. and 3rd grader, Gavin T! Both of these runners exemplified this character trait at our practice this week!
Great news! Our running club shirts are IN! The runners look bright and awesome running around the school in our new shirts.
5k information
We would love to see you out at the Race for Steak at the Angus Barn on Sunday, October 14th. 5k Registration is $70 for adults and $30 for kids, and includes an arm band to get into the festival and events of the day after the 5k! If you choose to register for this 5k, please register under the team name Brassfield Running Club. This is a wonderful event that we have attended for years, and it is for a great cause. 3rd grader 1 mile times
Our 3rd grade runners ran their first ever timed mile at running club yesterday! They did an amazing job by pushing through and pacing themselves. Great work!
