First Running Club 8/29/18

Thank you to all of the runners, coaches, middle school volunteers, and parent volunteers for coming out to our first running club! We had 88 runners, and participated in lots of team building activities to get us started for the season. The runners LOVED supporting one another during our fun games yesterday! Congratulations to 3rd grader, Ava G. and 5th grader Erin D. for winning the "Supportive" award for our character trait of the week.



T-shirts
T-shirts have been ordered and should be in by the next running club! If you have not paid the $12.00 for your shirt, please pay as soon as possible. Checks can be made out to the Brassfield PTA.

5k information
We would love to see you out at the Race for Steak at the Angus Barn on Sunday, October 14th. 5k Registration is $70 for adults and $30 for kids, and includes an arm band to get into the festival and events of the day after the 5k! If you choose to register for this 5k, please register under the team name Brassfield Running Club. This is a wonderful event that we have attended for years, and it is for a great cause. We ask that each runner is accompanied by an adult on the 5k. If you have any questions email Mrs. Lipetzky directly (elipetzky@wcpss.net).
